- Begum Akhtar: The real name of Begum Akhtar was Akhtari Bai Faizabadi and was from Faizabad. She was awarded by Sangeet Natak Academy Award, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan by the Indian government. Begum Akhtar was given the title of Mallika-e-Ghazal (Queen of Ghazals). She was one of the best ghazal singers in India.
- Talat Mahmood: Talat Mahmood was considered as one of the greatest male Indian non-classical and semi-classical singers. Apart from ghazal Talat also sang film songs. He was known as ShahenShah-e-Ghazal. He was one of the best ghazal singers in Lucknow.

- Dr. Hari OM IAS: Dr. Hari Om was born in a village in Sultanpur of Uttar Pradesh. He is an IAS and has served as DM of 11 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
